The Oakland Black Firefighters Association’s (OBFFA) Holiday Basket program has been existence for over 30 years! The OBFFA values the well-being of the Oakland community and dues contributed by the OBFFA members fund this important community engagement. Annually over 1,500 baskets are distributed. The baskets filled chicken/turkey and other assorted items feed more than 3,000 Oakland citizens a year. None of this would possible without our partners Allen Temple Baptist Church, Allen Temple Arms, Healthy Oakland, Aerial Outreach Mission, and the Oakland Housing Authority.
